Trusting Lord

A Logical Decision

Trusting in the Lord is not only a spiritual act of faith β€” it is also the most logical choice a believer can make.

Why?

Because God is all-knowing β€” He knows the end from the beginning.

“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” β€” Isaiah 46:10 (NIV)

He is all-powerful β€” there is nothing too hard for Him.

“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” β€” Isaiah 59:1 (NIV)

He is ever-faithful β€” even when we fail, He remains true.

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” β€” 2 Timothy 2:13 (NKJV)

This means God will never go against His own nature β€” He will always be true to His Word, even when we are not.

His word is flawless.

“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” β€” Psalm 18:30 (NIV)

In a world full of uncertainty, trusting ourselves, people, or systems is risky. But placing our trust in the unchanging character of God is both spiritually wise and intellectually sound.

Our emotions may waver, but His promises never fail. Trusting Him is not blind β€” it’s based on a solid foundation of proven faithfulness.

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.” β€” Psalm 118:8 (NIV)
